NEVADA COUNTY EARTH DAY

Saturday, May 3, 11am – 6pm, Loma Rica Lake (12190 Loma Rica Drive)

Major attractions at the APPT booth will be:

• Free bicycle tune-ups by staff and students from the Seven Hills Middle School Bicycle Recycle Program

• Xtracycle-blended smoothies

• Registration for Bike to Work Day

• Undriver's Licensing station (Thanks to Sustainable Ballard for this idea! Click here for more info.)

• One-hour street skills clinic starting at 2pm

And join the bicycle caravan up the hill, leaving from Grass Valley City Hall (corner of South Auburn and Main) at 10:30am. E-mail foothillcycling@yahoo.com with any questions.

APPT Dinner Ride

Every second Friday, 5:30pm

Meet at Grass Valley City Hall, corner of South Auburn and Main Street.

We ride in and around Grass Valley for about an hour, then have dinner downtown. This is both a social occasion and the monthly APPT meeting. All levels are welcome; no one will be left behind!

Free classes

Tour of Nevada City Bicycle Shop offers free classes on bicycle maintenance at their shop on the last Tuesday of the month from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. They're located at 457 Sacramento St in Nevada City. Check the calendar on their website for the current schedule.
