BIKE TO WORK DAY 2008: THURSDAY, MAY 15, 2008 Clean air, exercise, a healthy planet, spending less money, living a joyful life....what's your reason for cycling? On Thursday, May 15th, we'll celebrate all of these. There'll be a cafe crawl, after-work celebration, and prizes awarded for stellar bicycle commuting efforts! (Please register to be eligible...and help us log Western Nevada County bicycle miles!) Not sure about commuter cycling? Need some tips for how to get started, or how to make it more fun? Also, check out the local bus schedule here to consider a hybrid commute: all Gold Country Stage buses are equipped with bicycle racks on the front of the bus and can accommodate two bicycles per bus.
